This is a very short post, because I just stumbled across a quote which I captured some months ago (back in April, if you want more accuracy).
I’ve kept a journal since I was in my teens. In it I put ideas, notes, thoughts, lists. Anything that will be useful. Sometimes it’s random thoughts that are better out on the page than stuck in my head. Sometimes it’s a space where I can do some thinking. And… as in this case, it’s a useful place to collect things for when they will become helpful in the future.
The quote is from a book called “The Flinch” by Julien Smith:
“If you aren’t willing to sacrifice your comfort, you don’t have what it takes. Set fire to your old self. It’s not needed here”
Serendipity took me to that quote today. Time to let go.
